The 2015 vintage offered very favorable conditions in the Pescara province of Abruzzo. The spring brought sufficient rain to sustain the vineyards through the hot, dry summer. Cool breezes from the mountains moderated the heated and provided consistent growing conditions for the duration of the summer and into harvest. The montepulciano grapes achieved optimal ripeness, producing a wine with juicy red fruit character, firm yet approachable tannins, and balancing acidity, with a wiff mountain herbs and wildflowers.

Certified organic. Vineyards are 300m above sea level facing southeast. The vineyards are planted 4400 vines per hectare which are trained via the espalier system.
