Amplius Pinot Grigio

Amplius Pinot Grigio

Region

IGT Venezia Giulia

Winemaker notes

Pinot Grigio has had a 200-year history in Friuli. The higher proportion of limestone in Comelli's vineyards, coupled with the higher diurnal shift in temperatures, results in a Pinot Grigio with a surprising concentration flavors and a backbone of acidity to provide added structure.

Viticultural Notes

The vineyards are located near the communes of Faedis and Togliano in the Colli Orientali. Vines are guyot trained, planted on terraces at approximately 4,500 vines per hectare. Grapes are hand-harvested.
